Missal of Exceptional Quality. Single folio on vellum. Paris, ca. 1425: 315 mm x 221 mm (justification, 185 mm x 141 mm). Double column, 21 lines. Ruled in diluted ink. Decoration: one two-line dentelle initial; four two-line champ initials in gold on red and blue grounds with white-lead penwork; gold ivy-leaves emanate from the initials and extend the length of the outer margin on the verso. Text: from the Sanctorale, feasts of St. Michael Archangel (29 September) and Apostles Simon and Jude (28 October). Condition: excellent, bright with wide margins; hinges and evidence of hinges.
